Ya its correct according to ohms law,
V = IR.
To find I,
Let I = V/R.
12/4 = 3A.
V = IR.
To find I,
Let I = V/R.
12/4 = 3A.

I=V/R.
For first speaker I=12/8=1.5A.
For second speaker I=12/8=1.5A.
Hence total current=1.5+1.5=3A.
For first speaker I=12/8=1.5A.
For second speaker I=12/8=1.5A.
Hence total current=1.5+1.5=3A.

It is simple calculation both speakers are connected parallel to source then total resultant resistance is 4ohms by ohms law I=V/R so, I=12/4=3amps.

Thanks to rakesh and harsha.

The Answer of Harsha is also correct, bcos the total current will be addition of both & same current.

i1=v/r
i=12/8
i=1.5 Amp for speaker 1
similarly i2=1.5 Amp for another speaker 2
hence total current i=i1 + i2=3 Amp
i=12/8
i=1.5 Amp for speaker 1
similarly i2=1.5 Amp for another speaker 2
hence total current i=i1 + i2=3 Amp

Actually current flow in the speakers is different due to parallel circuit. So. Do as above has explained.
