Because transistor operate due to mismatach of parameter therefore one transistor coduct more than other hence one in saturatio and other in cut off.

Circuit is free-running so there is no need of triggering or any signal apply. Answer is D.

Free ranging multivibrator is called astable multivibrator because there is no stable state are not available in this multivibrator.
And also without triggering so it is called astable multivibrator.
