If we connect 2 resistors in series that time low current will be produced in the circuit. And voltage will be same.

If we connect two resistances in series and a potential difference is applied then what will be the value of current through the circuit?

Please explain why increased resistor value?

Not necessary the carbon resistors on burning turn into carbon which has a low resistance and hence the resistance may decrease. With metal resistors it is the other way around.
