Can anybody explain me? Why?

Should behave as short with zero voltage but high current flow.

Reverse in caps with an open circuit with zero current and same as the source voltage.

Open circuit means there is current zero but when the switch is closed current will pass on.

An inductor opposes a sudden change in voltage.

Delays the rise, prolongs the fall.

Instant action shows open.

Correct @Dlsing,

Because, Inductor opposes instant Change in current, but after the time constant 5(rise, decay) Ccurrent will flow normally.

At the beginning, circuit will be like open circuit.
