Zero biasing means without applying any voltage can flow the current in the circuit. In D- MOSFET construction having let us take n-type, the n-type semiconductor material is diffused b/w the two highly dopped n-type materials. That's why the vgs=0 some drain current having it clearly shows the characteristics of the D-MOSFET.
