Trans-conductance is the change in the drain current divided by the small change in the gate/source voltage with a constant drain/source voltage. Units are millisiemens. It is denoted by gm.

As per we know that Transconductance is inverse of Resistance so.
Gm= i/v.
Gm= i/v.

delta Id/delta Vi = Gm (since Vi=V gs).
1mA/1v = 1ms.
1mA/1v = 1ms.
