You are absolutely wrong, why because by using a sine signal (0.7v) the diode cannot function its uses dc voltage to bias so please refer.

PIV = VSmax. So answer 3v is right.

A silicon diode have 0.7v cut in voltage. In 3v 0.7v drop across the diode remaining voltage will be output voltage. My suggestions is 2.3v.

The peak inverse voltage is the maximum voltage the diode hold when it is reverse bias. So, maximum voltage there is 3V which drops across the diode during negative half cycle.

Since it is under forwardBias it sents only one Positive cycle as a Rectifier.
