Forward bias allows current to conduct so low resistance, while reverse bias is open circuit high resistance.

Answer C.
In the forward bias diode can conduct due to low resistance and in reverse bias as the diode has high resistance the current is negligible. So when the above condition occur the diode is faulty.

But while testing a diode, resistance should be low in both forward and reverse bias (as per one of the question. In this topic itself) , how can the answer 2 this be faulty.

When diode is given no bias that means open circuit then the depletion region between PN junction is greater no electrons can jump from this region so obviously resistance will be very high for an open circuit or no biased diode.

But it is when we apply any bias. What about when no bias applied?

When diode is in forward condition then it's resistance get reduced and when it is in reverse condition then it shows high resistance so we can say that the diode is faulty because showing the low resistance in forward and reverse condition.
