Integrator > low pass filter.

From the question, it is clear that the output is taken across the capacitor. So HF signals will get grounded and we will get LF signals in the output. Hence it is LPF.

If the capacitor was connected first and output was taken across the resistor it would be an HPF as the capacitor offer higher impedance to LF signal.

As per my understanding,

Normally with AC signal:

R-C is LPF.
C-R is HPF.

With square wave:

R-C is Integrator.
C-R is a differentiator.

I think the R and C are in series and in parallel with AC using normally all circuit for pulse suppressing, then it will act as low pass filter.

1). When the resistor is nearer to the source and output is taken from capacitor it is a low pass filter.

2). When the capacitor is nearer to the source and the output is taken from the resistor it is high pass filter.

It is not cleared which component is connected first. So hard to reach answer now.

It is simple capacitor at out put will conduct at high frequencies making them gnd and block low frequencies which are the out put.

@Vasu

If R is connected first and Capacitor is at the output then how the circuit will act as a lpf filter? Please explain.

What I mean to say is if R is connected first and Capacitor is at the output , then the circuit is LPF or integrator. If viceversa that is Capacitor comes first and the output is taken at the resistor side the it acts as HPF or differentiator.

The correct answer is Hpf. The capacitor allows only high frequencies and provides high impedance to low frequencies which means it allows only High frequencies that makes it act as a hpf.
