In CE configuration, if beta = 100, leakage current ICEO = 150 microA. If the base current is 0.2 mA, Calculate the value of IC, IE and alpha.

Beta : Ic/Ib.
Ic : ib*beta.
Ic : 100*30.
: 3000uA.
: 3mA.
Ic : ib*beta.
Ic : 100*30.
: 3000uA.
: 3mA.

Beta=Ic/Ib.
And Ib=30micro ampere
Therefore,
Ic=beta*Ib
Ic=100*30*10^(-6)A
Ic=3mA.
And Ib=30micro ampere
Therefore,
Ic=beta*Ib
Ic=100*30*10^(-6)A
Ic=3mA.

ib= .000030
beta= 100
then ic= .030
or 30UA
beta= 100
then ic= .030
or 30UA

Beta ratio=Ic/Ib
=> Ic=beta*Ib
=> Ic=100*30=3000
=> 3000/1000=3mA
=> Ic=beta*Ib
=> Ic=100*30=3000
=> 3000/1000=3mA
