Since aband pass filter is used to pass a particular band of frequency, the geometric average of critical frequency yields the center frequency.

Yes, I don't understand it

fc=(fh+fc)/2

Here what does fc on lhs and fc on rhs mean ?

Muhammad zeeshan said:   1 decade ago
According to above formula fc=fh.

Ranjan said:   1 decade ago
fc=(fh+fl)/2

fc = Critical frequency.

fh = High frequency.

fl = Low frequency.

What does the critical frequency please said in detail?

Critical frequency is the maximum band pass frequency which allow to pass the bandwidth of the certain frequency.

It is equal to the fc=fh when bandwidth is equal to 1.
