V(av)=Vpp*.634

Duty cycle=20%,
(ton/(ton+toff))=0.2, when calculated we get toff=4ton
now the waveform is confined between 20 v to 70 v as it is stated that the base line is 20v and peak to peak is 50v..
avg= (1/T)*[(70*ton+ 20*toff)], where T=ton+toff
Calculate it and u will get 30 v..hope it will help someone.

Duty Cycle=20% or
Ton/(Ton+Toff)=0.2 ----(1)

Simplyfying (1) we will get (Toff/Ton)=4

Avg=(1/T)*[(70*ton+ 20*toff)],where T=Ton+Toff

Avg=(1/Ton+Toff)*[(70*ton+ 20*toff)]

Avg=(1/Ton+Toff)* Ton [(70+ 20*(Toff/Ton))]

Avg=(Ton/Ton+Toff)* [(70+ 20*(Toff/Ton))]

Since (Ton/Ton+Toff)=Duty Cycle=0.2

Avg=(0.2)* [(70+ 20*(Toff/Ton))]

Since (Toff/Ton)=4

Avg=(0.2)* [(70+ 20*(4))]

Avg=30 volts

As per my logic, 50(0.6) = 30.

The Avg voltage = 0.637*50= 31.000.
