The Shape of the convolved signal depends on the duration t1 and t2.
If both the rect signals have same duration then yhe convolved signal will be triangular in shape.
If t1 is not equal to t2 then it will be trapezoidal in shape.

The integration of a rectangular waveform gives triangular waveform & the common part of the two rectangular waveforms remains rectangular & after convolving a trapezoidal wave will be generated.
