Temperature is directly proportional to the Noise created by resistor.

Naveen said:   1 decade ago
Because it has linear characteristics if noise created it would not effect resistor value.

As temperature increases energy of electrons increases, then random motion of electrons increases causing noise.

Power losses is directly proportional to temperature increases.

Noise generated by resistors results from the motion of electrons within the resistor.

The noise power is proportional to the bandwidth.
Then, V = square root (4 kTBR).

Noise is directly proportional to the bandwidth of a signal and absolute temperature.

V = square root (4 kTBR).

So, noise proportional to both R, T, B.

If the resistance is high then heat dissipation also high. High heat will effect the signal also signal strength will be decreases.

I agree @Naresh.

Noise should depend on resistance value as well as evident from the formula. Otherwise, there will be no difference between metals and non-metals.
