A network has two branches in parallel. One branch contains impedance Z1 and the other branch has impedance Z2. If it is fed from an ac voltage V of frequency f, the current through Z1 depends, on
V, Z1, Z2
V, Z1
Z1, Z2
V, Z1, f
Answer: Option
Explanation:

In parallel branches, the current through any branch depends only on voltage, impedance and frequency only.

Current should depend on Z2 also because current expression through branch Z1 has Z2 in the numerator.

@Nivedith.

As they are connected in parallel, all circuits will receive same voltage hence current is dependent on the respective branch only.

Why that current not depend on the resistance of the next branch? it usually do so?

Here, w = 2pi f.

How current is related to frequency? Can we have any formula for it please provide me?
