R = (rho*l)/A, therefore current capacity is depended upon resistance which is further depended upon length as well as area of the cross section of the conductor.

Hence answer is wrong and correct answer is C.

Current rating of cable depends on resistance per unit length, so basically, only the cross-section of the wire matters while calculating current rating.
