The coil of a moving coil meter has 100 turns, is 40 mm long and 30 mm wide. The control torque is 240 x 10-6 N-m on full scale. If B = 1 Wb/m2, range of meter is
1 mA
2 mA
3 mA
4 mA
Answer: Option
Explanation:

NBAI = Controlling torque or

= 240 x 10-6 or I = 2 mA.

Deflection Torque (N*B*A*I)= Controlling Torque.
So here N=100.
B=1wb/m^2
A=40mm * 30mm=>120 * 10^-6m
Tc=240 * 10^-6
Then;
I=?

I=(240 * 10^-6)/(100 * 40 * 120 * 10^-6 * 1).
So, I=2mA.

I think it should be 2uA.

Where: I=240*10^-6/(100*1*1200*10^-3).
So, I=2uA.

What is the formula can anybody explain?

Torque = B * I * N * A.
