There is only one number available in given options which has in between 0.004 and 0.0004.

αtotal = (0.004R1 + 0.0004R2)/(R1 + R2).
R1 and R2 = 1,
= 0022.
αtotal = (0.004R1 + 0.0004R2)/(R1 + R2).
R1 and R2 = 1,
= 0022.

By taking average (0.004+0.0004)/2 = 0.0022 which is nearer to 0.001.
