28.
The system of linear equations 4x + 2y = 1 , 2x + y = 6 has
a unique solution
no solution
an infinite number of solutions
exactly two distinct solutions
Answer: Option
Explanation:

4x + 1y = 7 → (1)

2x + y = 6 → (2)

(1) can be written as 2x + y = 3.5 → (3)

Now LHS of equations (2) and (3) are same but RHS is different which is not possible. Hence no solution.

In the question it is 4x+2y=1; whereas in explanation it is 4x+1y=7.
Please explain.
