I think number of inputs possible in AND or OR gates and then single output.

For example: 3-input AND gate and 3-input OR gate.

AND have a maximum of 3 inputs.

OR have a maximum of 2 inputs.

We normally use 2 input AND gate & OR gate.

Except Not gate, remaining gates have two or more two gates. Correct me if I said wrong.
