Carrier wave does not carry information the modulating signal (AF signal) carries the information and carrier are used as an additional strength to the low-frequency AF signal in order to reduce the effect of losing signal strength while travelling in a medium.

Then what does carry the carrier wave?

Please can anyone explain clearly?

The carrier wave does have the modulating signal w/c carries the information but not the carrier itself.

I think Modulation channel carries information.

Sidebands contains information and carrier is used for modulation purpose.

Carrier (is a high-frequency signal which carries the low-frequency signal that means message signal) carries the information from one place to another place. Then how can you say that false?

Carrier signal Carry information. It Carries the information from one place to another place.

The Modulating signal carries information.

The carrier wave doesn't carry much information itself. Because it was used alone with the modulating input signal to superimpose with others to move information from one point of end tx to another point rx without any loss of signal strength/amplitude.
