A signal m(t) = 5 cos 2p 100 t frequency modulates a carrier. The resulting FM signal is
10 cos {(2p 105 t) + 15 sin (2p 100 t)}
The approximate bandwidth of the FM would be
10 cos {(2p 105 t) + 15 sin (2p 100 t)}
The approximate bandwidth of the FM would be

Compare given equation with FM equation and you will get;
B= 15 & fm= 100.
Here B>>1 it is wideband FM signal so bandwidth = 2(B+1)fm.
BW = 3.2KHZ.
B= 15 & fm= 100.
Here B>>1 it is wideband FM signal so bandwidth = 2(B+1)fm.
BW = 3.2KHZ.

Bandwidth= 2(m+1) * fm.
Here, m=15, fm = 100.
Therefore, BW= 2(15+1)*100 = 3.2 kHz.
So the answer should be C.
Here, m=15, fm = 100.
Therefore, BW= 2(15+1)*100 = 3.2 kHz.
So the answer should be C.
