M1=0.4.
M2=0.3.
M(t)=√(0.4^2+0.3^2).
=√(0.4+0.3)^2 =>(0.4+0.3),
=0.7.
Then, how come 0.5 is the correct answer.
M1=0.4.
M2=0.3.
M(t)=√(0.4^2+0.3^2).
=√(0.4+0.3)^2 =>(0.4+0.3),
=0.7.
Then, how come 0.5 is the correct answer.

0.4^2 = 0.16
0.3^2 = 0.9
√0.16+0.9 = √0.25 = 0.5.
0.3^2 = 0.9
√0.16+0.9 = √0.25 = 0.5.
