By series, here they are side by side because speakers won't work when connected in series, thus it should be parallel.

Speakers are connected in parallel.
So, R= (R1*R2) / (R1+R2).
R= (3*3) / (3+3) = 9/6 or 3/2 ohms.
So, R= (R1*R2) / (R1+R2).

Since speaker is in series, then how its equal is 3/2 ohm.
