= (-5000×10^-6)*(40×10^3)
= -20.
= (-5000×10^-6)*(40×10^3)
= -20.

It's negative since it is in common source configuration, similar to BJT's common emitter configuration which shifts the input signal by 180 degrees.

Gain without feedback = -gm*RD.
Gain with feedback = A (vf) =-gmRD (RF/ (RF+gm*RDRS) ).
Gain with feedback = A (vf) =-gmRD (RF/ (RF+gm*RDRS) ).
