Here Id ---> drain current.
ID = IDSS (1-(Vgs/Vgsoff))^2.
20 = 10(1-(X/-4)^2
= 1.66V.

Vp = -4.
Put values in formulae
Id = Idss(1-Vgs/Vp )^2. We get the solution.
Vp = -4.

Id = 20mA.
Idss = 20.
Vp = -4.
By substituting in Id we get Vgs = 1.66.
Id = 20mA.
Idss = 20.
Vp = -4.
By substituting in Id we get Vgs = 1.66.
