From the formula;
gm = gm0(1-(Vgs/Vp)
Substitute gm = 0.5gm0
let x = (1-(Vgs/Vp),
0.5gm0=gm0(x),
x = 0.5.
From the formula;
Id = Idss(1-(Vgs/Vp))^2.
Substitute x = 0.5,
Id = Idss(0.5)^2.
Therefore, Id = 0.25(Idss).
gm = gm0(1-(Vgs/Vp)
Substitute gm = 0.5gm0
let x = (1-(Vgs/Vp),
0.5gm0=gm0(x),
x = 0.5.
From the formula;
Id = Idss(1-(Vgs/Vp))^2.
Substitute x = 0.5,
Id = Idss(0.5)^2.
Therefore, Id = 0.25(Idss).
