Diode D1 has 0 mA current because the resistance of silicon diode is higher than the germanium diode so current can't pass through the high resistive circuit. Current always Invent smooth circuit which has low resistance.
So,
D1 resistance>D2 resistance.
So,
D1 resistance>D2 resistance.

If I replace that 0.33k ohm resistance with any other resistance, is that circuit going to work same? Please tell me.

The right answer is, if two unequal voltage are connected in parallel then this type of circuit would not exist because KVL rule violate. Every circuit obey KVL and KCL law.

Current always follow low resistance path. In Se voltage drop in 0.7V, in Ge it is 0.3 V.
So, the current will flow through Ge path. And through Se it is 0mA.
So, the current will flow through Ge path. And through Se it is 0mA.

Because both are in parallel. We know that the Germanium(Ge) breakdown voltage is low (0.3v) as compare to Silicon Si (0.7). So current prefer easy path. Now whole current pass through Id2 (ge) diode.

In this case voltage drop across Si diode is 0.7 which is more high than Ge where voltage drop is 0.3. so that's why current can easily flow through the Ge diode..... So Id1 is 0 at Si diode...

Right answer is here....
If there are any parallel branches then they have to equal voltage. So here si diode branch and Ge diode branch should have equal voltage but it is not possible here so this circuit is not exist. So violation of kvl. So current is 0.

Ge diode will get forward biased(0.3V) before the Si diode(0.7V). So, Ge diode will be short circuit and all the current flows through it, and hence 0A current or no current through the Si diode.

The diode is short circuit. Then current is very high. But how it is 0mA.
