Full-wave rectifier frequency is 2fin. So, the answer is twice.

Please explain it clearly.

Sir time period of output wave how become half?

@Ashu.

Immediate output from rectifier is not steady state dc but it has ripples (ac components in dc). So here we are talking about ripples frequency.

Ashu said:   1 decade ago
But Sir, logically for dc frequency is zero. As o/p of rectifier is dc.

Thank you. Nagendra ji.

If we observe the output waveform, the time period is half of the input wave form, so frequency is twice that of input waveform.

Can any one explain this how it is?
