@ Rajaanikant Patel @ Atin.

If input signal is 360 degree then st diode conducts 180 and 2nd diode conducts remaining 180 degree.

Question is for each diode, so the answer is forward and 180 degree.

But in a center tapped full wave rectifier there are only 2 diodes one is forward other is reverse and they are mentioning about each diode so why 180 single diodes will have a phase shift of only 90 degrees. Please help me out.

Each diode have a phase angle of 90 degree and due to positive half cycle only two forward connected diode works and each produce 90 degree phase shift. The same thing happened in other 2 diodes which are in reversed biased.

They have asked for full wave rectifier but they have not mentioned as bridge. So there will be only 2 diodes in this full wave rectifier hence answer is 180.

Each diode have a phase angle of 90 degree and due to positive half cycle only two forward connected diode works and each produce 90 degree phase shift. The same thing happened in other 2 diodes which are in reversed biased. That's why it produce 180 phase shift in each case.

Why 180°?

In full wave, diodes are connected in forward bias at end pt of TXF, whereas centre tap is grounded, it works for full AC cycle so it is called full wave.

In full wave rectifier we use two diodes in that each conduct 180 degree in forward bias.
