M(mega) = Power of 10 is 6.

M = 1 MHZ.

i.e M = 1 k*k hz.

But k = 1000.

So for one k is replace by 1000.

:1 M = 1000 k are same.

How the upper band is 1000khz?

Upper sideband fq = Fm+Fc.
fq = 1MHz+5KHz.
fq = 10000+5000.
fq = 15000GHz.

How can you answer the value for 1005 is KHz,

Because the value of 1 MHz is 10000 and 1 KHz is1000, how can a is answer?

Here, Fm = 5KHZ.

Upper side band frequency = Fm+Fc = 1MHZ+5KHZ = 1005KHZ.

Carrier frequency = 1MHz and Audio signal = 5KHz.

Upper Band = 1000 KHz + 5KHz =1005KHz.

Carrier frequency = 1MHz.
Upper Band = 1000kh + 5KHz =1005KHz.

Upper side frequency=Carrier frequency+ Audio signal
= 1*10^6+ 5*10^3
=10^3[1000+5]
=1005 KHz.

Carrier frequency = 1MHz.

Upper Band = 1000kh + 5KHz =1005KHz.

Lower abnd = 1000KHz - 5KHz =995KHz.

Here it is given that fm=5khz & fc=1Mhz
upper side band frequency= fm+fc=5Khz+1Mhz=1005Khz
