Since CE has all gains as high it can be amplified in active region.

Common Emitter configuration could be applied as a Voltage and Current Amplifier but it is Mainly used as a Power Amplifier.

CE is having moderate current gain, moderate voltage gain and that's why V * I (high power gain).

CE mostly use in power and CB for voltage and CC for current.

Transistor can amplifies voltage, current as well as power, because in CE Configuration amplifiers provide a high gain.
