Get the Vth using voltage divider for R1 and R2. Vth : Vcc ( R2/ R1 + R2) = 4.4 V,
* Vth - Vbe *,
Vth = 4.4,
Vbe =0.7 ,
4.4 - 0.7 = 3.7.

@Sumit.

The exact formula is VB= VCC* (R2/R1R2).

@Sumit.

Note: R1= 22K not 27K.

Vc is 20V connected to the collector.

How do you get vc?

Sumit said:   1 decade ago
Using voltage divider rule
vb = Vc * r2/ (r2+r1)
= 20v * 5K/ (5+27)K
= 3.7 v
