Hysteresis voltage: is the tending of the output wave from the basic axis or the difference between the top positive peak and the bottom negative peak. Because the schmitt trigger is designed so that +v peake > -V peak.

As we all know that schmitti trigger basically a comparator. Which is changing from +ve voltage to -ve voltage. It's continuous.
