Brown = 10.
Black = 0.
Yellow = 10^4 = 10000.
Gold = (+/-) 5%.
Total = (10+0)*(10000) = (10000) {since nominal value is a value without tolerance}.
So, answer = 100000.
Black = 0.
Yellow = 10^4 = 10000.
Gold = (+/-) 5%.
Total = (10+0)*(10000) = (10000) {since nominal value is a value without tolerance}.
So, answer = 100000.

B-Black-0-1.
B-Brown-1-10-1%
R-Red-2-100-2%
O-Orange-3-1000.
Y-Yellow-4- 10 k.
G-Green-5-100 k-0. 5%
B-Blue-6-1 M.
V-Violet-7-10 M.
G-Green-8.
W-White-9.
Then (brown=1 black=0) x yellow=10000 + gold (+/-) 5%.
So, 10000 and (+/-) 5% ohms.
B-Brown-1-10-1%
R-Red-2-100-2%
O-Orange-3-1000.
Y-Yellow-4- 10 k.
G-Green-5-100 k-0. 5%

W-White-9.
Then (brown=1 black=0) x yellow=10000 + gold (+/-) 5%.
So, 10000 and (+/-) 5% ohms.

Position:
brown/1
black/0
yellow/4
gold/5%
So, 1 for brown, put 0 in front of 1 for black, so 10, yellow is 4 so add 4 nos. of 0000, so 1,00,000 and gold means 5% tolerance.
brown/1
black/0
yellow/4
gold/5%
So, 1 for brown, put 0 in front of 1 for black, so 10, yellow is 4 so add 4 nos. of 0000, so 1,00,000 and gold means 5% tolerance.
