Resistance defined as the property of a substance due to which it opposes the flow of current (i.e. electrons) through it.

We known V=IR Here R=V/I so resistance increase due to Ct' flow is decrease and resistance decrease at the same time ct'flow is increase so ct'flows control By resistance so resister is current limiting device.

A resistor is made in such a way that it will resist the flow of electrons between two potential points. Larger the resistance lesser is the flow of electrons.
