Thermister is one of the sensor(RTD) that used to measure the temperature by varying resistance.
There are two types of sensors 1.Active 2. Passive.
Thermisters are comes under passive type sensor, because it reads the temperature value once we given power supply.

When the temperature of thermistor increase corresponding decrease the resistance value of thermistor but in resistor, resistance value is increase.
