Rheostat have three terminals. One variable, 2 fixed terminals. Then how it can be rheostat?

Please anyone give difference between them i.e. Rheostat, Wiper, Thermistor, Potentiometer?

Rheostat has only two terminal. How can you say it has three terminal @Saurav Raj?

Satish said:   5 years ago
The answer should be a thermistor. Except this, all are three-terminal devices.

Rheostat is nothing but variable resistor which changes resistance value.

In potentiometer we use a slide resistance, so I think that is a wiper.
