24 we as applied and capacitor is fully charged, so it will charge up to 24 volt.

For 5 time constants capacitor is fully charged to supply voltage.

We know that,
v = v(total)*(1-exp^-t/RC).
= 24*(1-exp^-5) (i,e T=5RC) .
= 24 V.
v = v(total)*(1-exp^-t/RC).
= 24*(1-exp^-5) (i,e T=5RC) .
= 24 V.
