IN Y CONNECTION:

1) line voltage =root3 * phase voltage

2) line current = phase current

IN DELTA CONNECTION:

1) line voltage = phase voltage

2) line current = root 3 * phase current

Line voltage is the voltage which is between two phases and the current flows through those phases is known as line current.

Line voltage (line-to-line voltage) in a system is the voltage between two given phases. The other hand, Phase voltage is the voltage between the given phase and neutral, (neutral is available in star connection but not delta connection).
