When ever resistances are connected in series, same current flows hence more the voltage drop more the value of resistance according to ohms law i.e., V proportional to R.

Please, anyone explain.

What is mean by voltage drop?

Is Voltage drop means a decrease in voltage or increase?

V = IR voltage drop in a resistor is directly proportional to resistance value.

If a 4.7M resistor has 20kV across it, how much current is there?

Anyone, give me the answer.
