Vs=-Vd.
hence Vs+Vd=0.
number of resistors=5.
voltage drop on one resistor=6V.
Total Voltage drop(Vd)=6*5=30.
Vs=-Vd.
so vs should be 30 to equalize the equation vs+Vd=0.
hence Vs+Vd=0.
number of resistors=5.
voltage drop on one resistor=6V.
Total Voltage drop(Vd)=6*5=30.
Vs=-Vd.
so vs should be 30 to equalize the equation vs+Vd=0.

The series circuit voltage is different, current is same here each resistor has 6V hence the V=V1+V2+V3+V4+V5, {6+6+6+6+6=30V} the source voltage is 30 volts.

Here, it is no equal resistance. How does it say 30v?
If he gave they are equal resistance, then it becomes 30v, right?
Anybody solve this.

@D.Jyothi.
Series circuit means current same and here also given voltage drop that means resistor of all branches must be equal or same.

v=i1r1+i2r2+....i5r5
Vi=IiRi(voltage drop across each resistor )
i=1,2,3,....
V=V1+V2+V3+V4+V5
V=6+6+6+6+6=30V
Vi=IiRi(voltage drop across each resistor )
i=1,2,3,....
V=V1+V2+V3+V4+V5
V=6+6+6+6+6=30V

5 resistor having same voltage drop 6v means they are having a same resistance.
Therefor 5*6 = 30v.
Therefor 5*6 = 30v.

He is not given that they are equal voltage, then how it is 30v?
It depends on R or I value.
