Because in series the resistance is the sum of all resistors present in the circuit.
Therefore Resistance (R) = 120+270+330.
R=720 ohms.
Therefore Resistance (R) = 120+270+330.
R=720 ohms.

R1 = 270.
R2 = 330.
R3 = 120.
Series means all the resistors will be added.
then we get 720.
270 + 330 + 120 = 720.
R2 = 330.
R3 = 120.
Series means all the resistors will be added.
then we get 720.
270 + 330 + 120 = 720.

R=R1+R2+R3
R1=120,R2=270,R3=330,
Sum of total resistance to connecting in series = R
R=120+270+330=720
R=720 Ohms.
R1=120,R2=270,R3=330,
Sum of total resistance to connecting in series = R
R=120+270+330=720
R=720 Ohms.

Series means current is same so all resistors are added
120 + 270 + 330 = 720
120 + 270 + 330 = 720

Resistance in series then,
R = R1+R2+R3.
R = 120+270+330.
R = 720 Ohm.
R = R1+R2+R3.
R = 120+270+330.
R = 720 Ohm.

Resistor are in series mean
R=R1+R2+R3
R=(120+270+330)0HM
R=720 OHM
R=R1+R2+R3
R=(120+270+330)0HM
R=720 OHM
