Suppose when three resistances are added together then the resistance value will increases, because we know that when they are connected in series then the result will be R=r1+r2+r3.

When the resistances are connected in series all the resistances are added hence the value of resistance increase.

R1 = 6 ohm R2=4 ohm when these two are connected in series i.e. R1+R2=10 ohm so the value is gradually increase so like this the value of the fourth resistor is also increases.

We know that resistance are connected series R=R1+R2+R3...+Rn.

Resistance increase.

Because we know that,

R = R1+R2+R3+.......+Rn.

So if another resistor is connected in series then total resistance of the circuit will be increase.

When resistors are in the series connection, it's resistance are increased because the formula of the series connections is R=R1+R2+R3+....+Rn.

In a series circuit is R=R1+R2+R3+R4. So resistance will be increase.

Resistance in series so are R1+R2+R3+R4+.....

Pandya smit said:   1 decade ago
r1+r2+r3 = R.

Resistance are in series so R+r4 . So increase.

Obviously the resistance will increase because there's a series connection.

Answer won't be option A, because in series connection there be always addition not multiplication.
