We know that, Z = R+j (Xl-Xc) but at resonance the imaginary part is cancelled i.e. Xl = Xc. Hence Vl = I*Xl and Vc = I*Xc. Therefore at resonance Vl = Vc.

Xl=Xc at resonace condition so that Vl=Vc, 2v=2v and 2-2=0.
