This answer is wrong because rectangular form for addition and subtraction and polar form for multiplication and divide.

False : -
In complex numbers are addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
For multiplication :
(a+ib).(c+id) = ac - bd + i(ad + bc).
For division :
(a+ib). (a+ib). (c-id)
(c+id). (c+id). (c-id)
= (ac + bd - i(bc - ad))
= (c2 + d2).
In complex numbers are addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

(a+ib).(c+id) = ac - bd + i(ad + bc).
For division :
(a+ib). (a+ib). (c-id)

Yes, for complex and Polar both we can do addition, subtraction, multiplications & division But for our simplicity it is easy to do the addition & subtraction in the complex form and multiplications & divisions in Polar form because it makes it simple to calculate.
