It is given 4.38*10^-3 to express in 10^-6

To get 10-3/1000 = 10-6.

Multiplication and division with 1000.

= 4.38 x 10"3.

= 4.38 x 10-3 x (1000/1000).

= (4.380 x 1000) x (10-3/1000).

= 4380 x 10-6.
