                In Parallel circuit total Power WT= W1 + W2 + W3 + W4.
WT = 1.2 + 1.2 + 1.2 + 1.2,
WT = 4.8W.
                WT = 1.2 + 1.2 + 1.2 + 1.2,
WT = 4.8W.

                Power dissipation = No of branches * power transmission in the branch = 4 * 1.2w = 4.8w.

                Power in all the circuits like series and parallel is additive.

                Power dissipated in any sort of connection, either parallel, series or parallel/series it remains same. ie pt = p1 + p + p3 + ...... pn.

                What if they connected in series?

                Total power dissipation (p) = 4*P = 4*1.2 = 4.8.
