What is Reluctance?

Reluctance will oppose the flow of flux in magentic circuit.

Reluctance is similar to resistance in electrical circuits.

The reciprocal of resistance is reluctance.

Resistance will oppose flow of current in electrical circuit while reluctance will oppose production of magnetic flux in magnetic circuit.

Reciprocal of Resistance is not Reluctance. Just analogous to each other. In electric field we call the opposition of current as resistance and in magnetic field it is reluctance.

Resistance opposes magnetic flux as same as resistance opposes electrical current in a circuit.
