We know;
1w = 1000mw.
1/2 = 500 mw.
1w = 1000mw.
1/2 = 500 mw.

Half-watt= 0.5W
Then 1W=1000mW
so, 0.5W= 0.5*1000
= 500mW
Then 1W=1000mW
so, 0.5W= 0.5*1000
= 500mW
